vCenter Orchestrator = Automation for vSphere and vCloud

 refer: http://certcollection.org/forum/topic/143654-vcenter-orchestrator-automation-for-vsphere-and-vcloud/

I wanted to post some sources since I have also been working on how to automate task in vSphere environments.

It's really quite simple though at first it may seem daunting. vCenter orchestrator is a very cool way to fully automate your environments. From VM deployment, Host automation of configurations, vCloud director automation, and more. (vCenter required)

To get start you will need to download and install the vCenter Orchestrator. You can get the new appliance from here:
http://downloads.vmware.com/d/details/vco_va_420/dHRAYnRoamViZHAlZA==

I could you guide you through the installation but why invent the wheel if someone already has done it? You can see an install here:

This will pretty much get you started on your journey to FREE automate but obviously you will need a few other plug-ins...

What are plug-in? Well these are the magic working of vCenter Orchestrator they are that wheel that you don't want to keep reinventing.... shortcuts for you to get quickly on the road of automation.. You can find these here:

Anyways happy automation!
